What is a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamandua" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Tamandua</a> and why did I choose this name for my tattoo artist name ?
I love animals and I wanted to name my art page with an animal name. This was my first thought.
Few years ago, I was participating in <a href="https://characterdesignreferences.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">character design challenge</a> and the theme of the month was <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alebrije" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Alebrije</a>. I love that colorful art from Mexico. I decided to draw an ants eater (a random animal picked from my mind😃) then my friend Yama from Uruguay (South America), told me that I was drawing a Tamandua. I immediately fell in love with the name and decided to call my company Tamandua.
A Tamandua (pronounced tuh MAN doo wah) is a type of anteater and is often called a lesser anteater because it is much smaller than its relative, the giant anteater.

I know most people don't know what a Tamandua is and this makes my name unique and mysterious !!!

Why did I choose Tamandua as my tattoo artist name ?

For the ones who don't know yet, I am a 3D animator for video games. I am still working in the games industry half-time so I can tattoo and draw.
I am a very active person and like to learn and improve when I have time.
A few months ago I started to learn ceramics.
I am learning slowly how to make mugs and some animal sculptures.
I took a few classes with <a href="https://mauceramics.pl/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Małgosia</a> in Warsaw, Poland to learn a few tricks to make cups and bowls on the wheel and hand technic.
Because I like the contact with working with clay, I decided to go to Amsterdam to have a 2 days workshop with the talented <a href="https://calaca.me/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Nastia</a>, she showed me how to build an animal sculpture I designed (the sculpture needs to be empty inside). I really enjoyed my time with Nastia and her beautiful universe. I am really motivated to make more animals and creatures.
I will update my <a href="https://tamanduabox.bigcartel.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">shop</a> with my ceramic product if you are interested in a few months.

What I  do when I don't tattoo

<h1 id="voilayourtattooisfinishednowitisinyourhandstotakecareofitforthebestresult">Voila! your tattoo is finished….. Now it is in your hands to take care of it for the best result !!!</h1>
Good to know !
During the first 4 days, your epidermis is open.
The tattoo ink then bleeds, and your tattoo will drain ink, blood, and lymph.
No panic, everything is normal.
You risk staining your sheet and clothes, so choose dark-colored fabrics.
Primary Care
<ul>
<li>Remove the cellophane 3 to 6 hours after the tattoo session. Clean the tattoo (as described below) and put a new cellophane for the first night only. And not to use thereafter. 
If you have a second skin, remove it between 24h and 48h after the tattoo session. If the second skin got water inside after showering or is removed by itself, no worry, remove it completely and follow normally the following steps.</li>
<li>Clean the tattoo with neutral ph soap with clean hands.</li>
<li>Rinse thoroughly.</li>
<li>Gently dab the tattoo with a paper towel to dry it. Do not use towels or household linen (even if clean) or toilet paper.</li>
<li>Let the tattoo breathe in the open air.</li>
</ul>
The following days
<ul>
<li>Repeat the primary care listed above for 3 weeks.</li>
<li>Apply the cream in a light layer, massaging gently into the skin after each wash until the tattoo has healed.</li>
</ul>
Precautions
<ul>
<li>No bathing, swimming pool, sea, sauna, hammam, or other bathing during the entire healing period (3 weeks).</li>
<li>Wear cotton clothing (synthetics are irritating to the skin and open wounds).</li>
<li>No sun exposure for at least 1 month, even with sun cream (not to be used on a healing tattoo). After this period, your tattoo must be protected with an index of 50+ at each exposure.</li>
<li>Do not scratch or deliberately remove scrabs from your tattoo or risk altering it.</li>
</ul>
